Nareszcie nadszedł ten dzień! Dziś, 15 września 2020 roku, projekt xCloud oficjalnie wychodzi z bety i jest już dostępny dla każdego posiadacza Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. W związku z tym, biblioteka usługi znacząco się poszerzyła i od tej pory na małym ekranie smartfona zagrać możemy w takie hity, jak A Plague Tale: Innocence, Gears 5 czy nawet Wiedźmina 3!
xCloud wychodzi z wersji beta
Już od jakiegoś czasu wszyscy chętni gracze mogli sprawdzić xCloud na własną rękę, pod warunkiem, że mieli wykupiony abonament Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. We wczesnej wersji usługi można było zagrać w kilka gorących tytułów, znanych z Xboksa i PC, przy pomocy chmury na swoim własnym smartfonie. Co ważne, usługa ta jest dostępna w Polsce! Więcej o projekcie xCloud możecie przeczytać na dedykowanej stronie internetowej Xbox.
Strumieniowanie gier xCloud Microsoftu jest dostępne dla każdego posiadacza Xbox Game Pass Ultimate ze smartfonem lub tabletem z Androidem – i to bez żadnych dodatkowych opłat! Niestety, na razie nie pogramy w chmurze na urządzeniach Apple.
Swoją drogą liczę, że strumieniowanie gier już wkrótce będzie dostępne również na konsolach Xbox. Po pierwsze, dzięki temu dość mały dysk Xbox Series S nie byłby zbyt wielkim problemem, a po drugie – Xbox One mógłby otrzymać jeszcze kilka dodatkowych lat życia dzięki graniu w chmurze!

Lista jest, jak widać, naprawdę pokaźna. Już od kilku dni testuję xCloud od Microsoftu i muszę przyznać, że działa ona zaskakująco dobrze – chyba nawet lepiej od konkurencyjnego GeForce Now NVIDII. Więcej o tym będziecie mogli przeczytać już wkrótce w osobnym tekście.
Minecraft: Dungeons ze specjalnym wsparciem!
Z powyższej listy na wyjątkowe wyróżnienie zasługuje Minecraft: Dungeons, które doczekało się specjalnego wsparcia dla ekranu dotykowego. Dzięki temu w „Kanciaste Diablo” możemy grać jeszcze wygodniej na małym wyświetlaczu smartfona – jest to efekt specjalnie zaprojektowanego sterowania, a także lekko zmienionego interfejsu gry, który zachowuje się nieco inaczej niż na konsoli czy PC.
Przyznać trzeba, że wygląda to naprawdę imponująco i mam szczerą nadzieję, że więcej gier doczeka się tak rozwiniętego wsparcia dla smartfonów. Granie na padzie jest oczywiście wygodniejsze, ale z drugiej strony nie zawsze mamy taki kontroler przy sobie. Trzymam więc kciuki za rozwój xCloud!
